Ayesha Takia was born in Mumbai 10th April 1986. Her father's name is Nishita, Gujarati and her mother was named Faridah, is half British and half white Maharashtra.
Ayesha has never let her inability to speak Hindi liquid gets in her way. Getter, she is no stranger to the big screen and saw the camera, even at the young age of 4 years its continuity is what got her noticed and the makers of 'Socha Na Tha' approached her in 2004 a leading role opposite Dharmendra's nephew Abhay Deol be accepted.
She has also signed another film "Tarzan Wonder Car", which made its debut in Bollywood since the release of 'Socha Na Tha' was delayed.
In 'Tarzan Wonder Car Ayesha her mark in Bollywood and soon was not only noticed but also received an award - Filmfare Best Debut.
Then her films have done poorly at the box office, although she won the high with the teen audience in India and abroad, especially with her performance in 'Dil Maange More' and 'Shaadi No. 1'.
